Don't Give Up
"God is touching you, connecting with you in your heart through the word and you become that living letter that walks around and testifies."
~ Dr. Kevin L. Zadai
After you watch the video and read the study notes on this page, answer these questions here on the Blog mentioned above:
For your very lives are our “letters of recommendation,” permanently engraved on our hearts, recognized and read by everybody. As a result of our ministry, you are living letters written by Christ, not with ink but by the Spirit of the living God—not carved onto stone tablets but on the tablets of tender hearts.
—2 Corinthians 3:2,3 (TPT)
DISCUSSION:
God has a miracle for you, and it’s close at hand. When you connect with His word in your heart, you will come to the door of your miracle. The Spirit of God is writing that word on your heart right now. It comes in a way that you can hear it, and then you connect with God in your heart, and the miracle comes forth. God is connecting with you through the word, and you become a living letter that walks around and testifies of His faithfulness. The faithfulness of God is inside you and is displayed through your life. He’s never going to fail you. David said I've never seen the righteous forsaken or their seed or their offspring begging for bread (see Psalm 37:25).
Psalm 119:11 NLT: I have hidden your word in my heart that I might not sin against you.
The Psalmist David realized that the way you synchronize with Heaven is in your heart by God's word. You hide the miracle in your heart and, the miracle that is so close to you becomes forefront as you connect with God through your spirit with that word. Don’t give up because the Lord is faithful, and He’s coming through for you. It's through His word. It's His son who is the word of God —the living word; the bread that came down from Heaven that you eat goes inside of you, and you hide it in your heart like David the Psalmist did. That is the connection for your miracle. It's not through manipulation or telling people your needs all the time and hoping they can provide for you. It's praying and allowing God to accomplish what you pray for in secret. The Psalmist said, I hid the word of God in my heart, and yet it displayed the word. It revealed the faithfulness of God, where God rewards you openly for what you do in secret.
The word of God is mighty. It's sharper than any two-edged sword. It's living and active, and it divides between the soul and the spirit. It's the only thing in the Bible that can divide between the soul and the spirit. (see Hebrews 4:12) The word of God can divide between the spirit, and your mind, will, and emotions. The Spirit of God is moving, but you might not be able to distinguish Him because you need the word of God to divide and separate what's of you and what's of God. If you’re going to connect with God, you’re going to want to connect with the Word of God.
o Why are people resistant to meditating on the word of God? Could it be they don’t understand it, or do you think it’s too hard for them to sit for several minutes and meditate on it?
CONNECTING TO GOD
Jesse Duplantis once said the reason people don’t connect to the word of God is that “Christians are reading the Bible with their soul.” If I filter the whole word of God by what I think, what I feel, or my own will, I’m going to read it wrong. I will be filtering it through my soul, and that’s not how you read the word of God. You have to read it through the Spirit of God. If I read the Bible through the wrong filter, such as the soul, I’ll read it and filter it through what has happened to me, through the mind, will, and emotions. People have trouble discerning God through the word because they don’t understand why they are still facing sickness in their lives or why they’ve witnessed death in their family. That is all part of the soul realm.
The word of God divides the soul from the spirit. You have to adhere to the Spirit of God and what He’s saying through the word. The word of God is like a loaf of bread. You don’t have to put the whole loaf in your mouth at once.
There's something about reading a verse and taking it bit by bit, letting it flow in and out of you, allowing the spirit to guide you. It heals your heart when you meditate on a verse daily, and the revelation of that word becomes realized. It’s healing as you read it, and it brings life to your bones. The word of God brings life to you, and every time you read it, you get answers. When you are in a relationship with God and read His word, it will transform you. Meditate on it and digest it, and you will see God impart His wisdom and revelation through it. The word of God is a person. It is the Lord speaking to you. We are to receive with meekness the engrafted word of God. (see James 1:21) It can save your soul and wash over you and cleanse your mind.
You will have less and less resistance the more time you spend in the word of God. It sets you free. It changes everything. God is saying to you, “Do not give up, connect to me in your spirit with my word.” One word from God changes everything, and all you need is His approval anyway. If God is for you, and He’s taking a stand for you, who can be against you. If He stands for you, then you need to stand for Him. He is singing songs of deliverance over you. (see Zephaniah 3:17) He wants to see you set free. He loves you so much, and that love is forever. You are a letter of recommendation and a letter of approval displayed to everybody. God will be faithful to you because He wants to reveal His faithfulness through you to everyone else. He wants to broadcast His faithfulness to you for all to see. God has resolved that He is faithful to you, so you shall be faithful to Him.

PRAYER:
Father, thank you for your power. Thank you for your resurrection power right now. We speak a word of deliverance. We speak a word of healing to everyone right now. And I command everyone, everywhere, to yield to Jesus right now. I place that command, yield, humble yourself under the mighty hand of God. He's going to lift you up right now. The word of God; give it preeminence in your life. Give the word of God; the Lord Himself is the word of God; give Him preeminence right now. I command every evil spirit; you must bow to the name of Jesus, and by the power of the name and the blood of Jesus, we rebuke you. We send you, going, we send you traveling right now. We sent you flying out of there in Jesus' name. I thank you for healing. I thank you for delivering people of trauma, and I thank you, Father, that you are faithful and that you will cause others to see this Father through us in the name of Jesus.
